We've been robbed.

It's late at night. You're wearing a ski mask, sneaking into your local mall. You have no intention to steal, but you're seeking a thrill. You tap gleefully on glass windows and protective metal grates, thinking to yourself, "I'd make a great cat burglar."

But then, as you drag the beam of your flashlight over rows of clothing, you gasp at the sight of shadowy figures closing in around you. Your instinct is to run, but you turn to face the horde. You chuckle. The dark figures aren't demons, but rows of dreary men's jackets, sweaters, and shirts swaying gently in the circulated air.

These bland outfits — horrifying indeed — occupy almost every inch of men's retail stores today. Ever hear someone say, "beige is really in right now"? Me neither, but most menswear brands seem to think so.

We've been robbed of vibrant clothing, so Dyehouse's mission is to bring color back to menswear by making the world's greatest sweaters.

Great Materials

Most sweaters are made of plastic (look at your clothing tags for polyester, acrylic, or nylon). These days, finding a real wool sweater is almost impossible, so we source wool and cashmere yarns that last forever.

Zero-Waste Distribution

Dyehouse's goal is to achieve zero waste distribution. Much of the waste in fashion — which equates to about a garbage truck of textiles every second — comes from unsold inventory.

Companies often send unsold goods to be destroyed, injecting noxious chemicals into the air and ground. Inspired by companies like Paynter.co, Dyehouse is beginning a slow transition transitioning to a preorder-only model, ensuring no inventory is wasted.

Dyehouse's debut Crate is a collection of 100 lightweight colorful wool sweaters made from wool and cashmere. They're designed to be vibrant yet familiar. Sign up for the waitlist below to be the first to know when new products are released.
